Supplier Management
According to the procurement operation standards, Fortune's suppliers are required to comply with ISO and RoHS regulations, in accordance with the purchasing specifications.
The management of RoHS's six hazardous substances, including their prohibition/limitation, must be adhered to and strictly implemented. According to the 1P2036 contractor safety and health management operations, contractors are required to manage work permits, provide safety and health education and training, organize meetings, and conduct safety inspections to ensure effective work safety and hygiene measures. This is done to reduce both accidents within the company and those involving contractors. By minimizing accidents, the company ensures the safety of personnel, equipment, and property, reduces workplace safety and health incidents during operations, and minimizes environmental impact. Through the guidance system, contractors' consensus and safety knowledge are enhanced to maintain a safe operational environment at the plant.
The standard document 1W1611, "Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Policy Commitment Letter," commits to reducing and preventing pollution source emissions, continuously promoting waste reduction, and complying with environmental regulations. In terms of occupational safety, it establishes policies for hazard prevention and self-protection, understanding potential hazards in activities, and adopting risk-reduction operations. Additionally, it aligns with the company's ISO 14001 environmental policy, ISO 45001 occupational health and safety policy, and ISO 50001 energy policy, as well as other related operational requirements, serving as one of the key criteria for qualifying suppliers.
The contracts with suppliers clearly stipulate the need to comply with relevant regulations, environmental health, and safety maintenance requirements. Suppliers are expected to uphold the spirit of corporate social responsibility, minimize the impact of operations on ecological benefits, community environments, and human society, promote and advocate for sustainable consumption concepts, and engage in research, procurement, production, operations, and service activities based on the following principles:
1. Reduce the resource and energy consumption of products and services.
2. Reduce the emissions of pollutants, toxic substances, and waste, and ensure proper waste disposal.
3. Enhance the recyclability and reusability of raw materials or products.
4. Maximize the sustainable use of renewable resources.
5. Extend the durability of products.
6. Increase the efficiency of products and services.
Both parties shall jointly commit to implementing corporate social responsibility. If Party B is found to violate corporate social responsibility matters, and such violations have a significant impact on the environment and society of the supplying community, either party may terminate or remove the contract at any time.
To strengthen the quality management function of suppliers and ensure the environmental and social impacts of the supply sources, the responsibilities for supplier and material development are specified in the 1W1611 supplier development evaluation. The relevant operational regulations outlined above are to be followed, and collaboration with suppliers will be fostered to jointly implement corporate social responsibility.
