Explanation:
2.1 The company primarily manufactures various transformers, distribution boards, and switches. During the made-to-order production process, pollutants such as exhaust gases, waste materials, noise, and domestic wastewater are generated, which may cause environmental impact.
2.2 Select appropriate raw materials, production equipment, pollution control devices, and other effective measures to handle/control various pollutants during production. Develop emergency response plans to address unexpected events, continuously conduct system audits and improvements, and commit to pollution prevention to ensure the system is comprehensive.
2.3 Commit to comply with environmental regulations and international conventions, establish a sound organizational structure with clear responsibilities, effectively implement the environmental management system, and train all employees to follow operational standards for execution.
2.4 Establish environmental management goals, targets, and plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of implementation through management reviews, using the results to drive continuous improvement.
2.5 The ISO 14001 management standard shall serve as the guiding principle for the environmental management system, and operation manuals, work specifications, and forms shall be established as the basis for implementation.
2.6 The company internally explains the environmental management system and policies to employees through education, training, and communication, while externally disclosing and communicating them. The company also accepts audits from environmental organizations and relevant government departments.
Our company manufactures heavy electrical products, such as high and low voltage transformers, distribution panels, and distribution switchgear. Since its establishment in 1969, we have adhered to the consistent business philosophy of "Quality, Participation, Well-being, and Sustainability," and the "Fortune Spirit" of "Diligence, Sincerity, Pragmatism, and Pursuit of Excellence." With a conscientious attitude, we strive relentlessly to uphold these principles. In response to the changing environmental issues around our daily lives—such as the environmental pollution impacts caused by large-scale production and consumption amidst improving living standards and economic prosperity—we are committed to adhering to environmental regulations to reduce environmental pollution and resource consumption. We have formulated four environmental policies as our direction for efforts and have publicly shared them with society, demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement and fulfilling our responsibility as part of the global village.
We have established our business philosophy and, in turn, formulated environmental policies, goals, and targets. This enables Fortune's management and all employees to achieve the highest level of environmental management throughout the production activities and product service processes.
